Not Really Work-Related

But, still, a serious question.

...

How long do I wait to remove the "In A Relationship with Scrub*" status from my social networking accounts?

Any suggestions?

* Scrub is the now ex-boyfriend. (He has 2 part-time jobs but still can't pay rent or cover (and/or split) the tab for anything.

    I waited a few days...but I think I was more invested in my relationship than you are in yours. I'd give it 24 hours.

    Maybe you should have just removed it and avoided the conversation altogether. He would have eventually figured it out.

    Depending on how serious the relationship was...if not too serious, I'd do it ASAP. Otherwise, 24 hours.
